The Full Story
About Us
Hello, we are Fred and Amanda! We got married in 2004 and soon felt God calling us to adopt children with special needs. In 2011, we adopted Rorie and Cole from Ukraine, and two years later, in 2013, we welcomed Bridget, Silas, and Jasper into our family, also from Ukraine. All our children have Down syndrome, and we are inspired every day by their unique abilities and boundless enthusiasm.
In 2020, we again felt God calling, only this time we were called to country living! We moved to a farmette in Darien, Wisconsin, where we enjoy the company of our chickens and goats. We started Rowdy Rascals to provide opportunities for our children to create, express themselves, and gain meaningful employment. Our family is built on love, resilience, and creativity, and we are excited to share our story and handmade creations with you!
